Our answer
Yes. On long-haul flights, business class almost always has food available between the main meals.
- Snack basket or self-serve area. Many airlines leave snacks, fruit, chocolate, crackers and drinks in the galley or a small bar area for business class passengers to help themselves.
- Order from the menu. Most business class menus have an “anytime” or “light bites” section, such as a sandwich, soup, noodles, pizza or cheese plate. Just press the call button and ask.
- Onboard bars and lounges. A few airlines have a bar area on some of their bigger planes, where you can stretch your legs and get a snack and a drink.
If you plan to sleep straight away, you can also ask the crew to wake you for breakfast before landing, or tell them not to wake you at all.
The crew are used to requests at all hours in business class, so don’t be shy about asking.
