Our answer
At many airports, yes. In the US it’s more hit and miss.
Outside the US, most big hub airports have a priority lane for business and first class. London Heathrow, Dubai, Doha, Frankfurt, Paris and many others do. It’s usually close to the premium check-in area. Look for signs that say Fast Track, Priority or the alliance name, such as SkyPriority. Your boarding pass often has “Fast Track” or “Priority” printed on it, and you show it at the entrance.
In the US, security is run by the TSA, and most airports send everyone through the same lines. Some airports have a priority lane for premium cabin passengers and top-tier members, but not all. That’s why many regular business class flyers still get:
- TSA PreCheck, for shorter lines and no taking off your shoes.
- Global Entry, which includes PreCheck and speeds up immigration when you come home.
Tip: if you can’t find the fast-track lane, ask at the business class check-in desk. They’ll point you straight to it, and at some airports they’ll walk you over.
